Exclusive! We Met Jennifer Garner In The Bathroom At The SAG Awards And You'll Never Guess Why!

The SAG Awards is a glamorous affair, with celebrities walking the red carpet and patting each other on the back for all of their accolades.

But one thing that us mere mortals have in common with Hollywood stars - well - we all need to use the bathroom.

So there I was, minding my own business, in all honesty going through the cubicles to try and find a satisfactorily clean toilet (I have OCD) - when low and behold - I come face to face with Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Garner.

She looked stunning in her strapless gold dress, hair and make-up was perfect. However, poor Jen was suffering from a total wardrobe malfunction.

It appeared that the lining of her dress had ridden up too much under dress and she needed help pulling it down to smooth out the hourglass look.

She already had one friend's hand firmly up her dress to try and pull down the lining when I offered my help too. It was very surreal - trust me! I also suggested to her that she better hold the top of the strapless sequined Oscar de la Renta gown otherwise one of the firm tugs from down below may render her showing a lot more up top than she intended. It was a hilarious and comedic moment.

"I think the dress is a little too tight," Jennifer mused before admitting, "And I think I ate too much too!"

But the Juno star took the whole thing in her stride and kept her sense of humor about it. Honestly, she confirmed to me why she has the reputation for being one of the nicest actresses in Hollywood.

When asked if she was wearing Spanx - she said she wasn't but it was the lining of her dress that  was causing the issue.

"Everyone thinks that these events are so glamorous," the mother-of-three laughed as she tried to get securely and comfortably adjusted in the gown.

My biggest surprise though is that she wasn't in some secret VIP bathroom somewhere but in the regular backstage loo at LA's Shrine Auditorium.

Her hubby Ben Affleck was fresh off his victory of winning for outstanding performance by a motion picture cast for his ensemble movie Argo and she said they were going to go and party the night away to celebrate!

So as Jennifer sauntered off back to her A-list life with her dress finally smoothed out - and I went back to my regular one - I'll always remember my bathroom encounter with Mrs. Affleck where for a few minutes we were just all girls together. She really is one of the nicest celebrities I've ever come across.
