In a statement, Kensington Palace revealed the details of the heir to to the throne's christening. It said:
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce the christening of Prince George will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October at The Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace. Prince George will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby."

US Weekly reports that the baby will get christened at the same chapel that Elton John's son got christened at, which is also the place where Princess Diana was the night before her funeral. Clearly this place has more sentimental value for Prince William than Buckingham Palace would. so it seems like a very fitting choice for the royal couple.

Only 60 close friends and family will be attending the christening, but photos of the event and the baby will supposedly be revealed to the public the next day. We'll be counting down the days until October 23!
