Giada De Laurentiis Shares Menu She'll Serve to Prince William & Kate Middleton

Giada De Laurentiis is the chosen one! The Food Network chef will be cooking for Prince William and Duchess Kate when they travel to California and the pressure is on. But Giada has her menu planned and is even sharing her recipes in advance!

Giada will be serving 3,600 people, including the royal couple, on July 9 at a charity event at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in California.
William and Kate have started their first official overseas trip as a married couple today and Giada is all set to cook for them when the arrive in California after their visit to Canada.
Giada has four dishes planned and shared the recipes on Today this morning.
"Are you nervous?" Matt Lauer asked.
"I am! Of course I'm nervous!" Giada said. "I've never cooked for royalty before. This is an exciting moment. I'm hoping that I'm just going to kind of hit it out the park."

And it looks like she'll do just that based on her recipes. Giada will serve pea pesto crostini, beef tenderloin crostini with basil-curry mayonnaise, individual lasagnas with fresh sweet corn and mascarpone cheese served with blistered tomatoes and roasted asparagus, and tarragon and merlot truffles.
