Gilbert Gottfried Fired by Aflac After Japan Twitter Jokes

Gilbert Gottfried Tweeted jokes after the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan that Aflac didn't find funny.

The comedian provided the voice for the company's famous duck mascot, but not any longer — he's been fired by Aflac.
"Gilbert’s recent comments about the crisis in Japan were lacking in humor and certainly do not represent the thoughts and feelings of anyone at Aflac ... Aflac will immediately set plans in motion to conduct a nationwide casting call to find a new voice of the iconic Aflac Duck," the company said in a statement to TMZ.

So far, Gilbert's Twitter has been quiet today.
The comedian had previously Tweeted 12 jokes after the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan including one saying, "Japan is really advanced. They don't go to the beach. The beach comes to them."
