'Glee' Star Lea Michele on Emmy Snubs: "I'm Very Proud of Our Last Season"

Despite Glee receiving only three Emmy nominations, one of its stars, Lea Michele, doesn't sound too disappointed.

The upbeat star told E! News, "I think there are so many incredible shows out right now. I am a huge fan of Girls, and the fact that Lena Dunham got nominated and the show got nominated is amazing. There's some really great stuff out there right now, so I feel like this is just the natural progression of things.

"I'm very proud of our last season. I think it was one of our best seasons ever," she added.
Looking forward to season four, which begins shooting next week, Lea confirmed she will perform a song by Barbra Streisand, but conveniently didn't mention which one it will be! As for the second episode, it will give a nod to Britney Spears. Lea also briefly talked about guest star Kate Hudson: "What we get to do together on the show is so awesome. We can not wait!"
