A recently released video message Cory Monteith made for a fan while the Glee star was flying from Japan to Vancouver is believed to be his last.

The 31-year-old actor recorded the short 15-second clip for a flight attendant who asked him if he would say something to her boyfriend’s daughter.

“I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school,” says Cory to the camera.

As OKMagazine.com reported, Cory was found dead at the Pacific Rim Hotel in Canada on July 13 after mixing alcohol and heroin.

Cory’s Glee co-stars are now making sure his kindness to others will always be remembered. “Cory had one of the biggest hearts, a real bright light,” Jane Lynch says. “He was one of those guys. He knew he was breathing rarefied air—the gift that this wonderful show gave us.”

And Dianna Agron says Cory was “one of the most generous and kind people” she had ever known.

“In this difficult time, I am leaning on all of the wonderful memories we shared with Cory, how many ways he was able to make us smile,” she adds.
