Gossip Girl to meet The O.C.?

Gossip Girl fans will get a sneak peek at this fall's new spin-off on the May 11 epsiode. The new show will follow Lily van der Woodsen's young years in L.A. Brittany Snow is already on board to play the young version Lily.

What else can viewers expect to see? Executive producer Josh Schwartz told Entertainment Weekly that there may be some familiar faces--but not from Gossip Girl.

Josh and co-cretaor Stephanie Savage might have Lily interact with younger versions of their favorite characters from their former hit show, The O.C., including Kirsten Nichol and Jimmy Cooper and possiby a young Julie Cooper (previously played by Melinda Clarke)!
