GOSSIP GIRL SECRET REVEALED!
Nov. 7 2007, Published 6:59 a.m. ET
Here’s a secret from the hot new teen series Gossip Girl. Nicole Fiscella, who plays Isabel -- one of Blair’s devoted friends -- didn’t want to be an actress.
“My agency told me I should get into acting because I have a big personality. And I said no,” the working model revealed to me during a private dinner at Lola, a southern and soul restaurant in downtown New York City. “I didn’t want to memorize lines or have to go to classes. I said I only wanted to do something if it fell into my lap.”
Luckily, her role did just that. And it hasn’t stopped Nicole, 24, from pursuing her other passions. She’s currently taking classes online from the University at Bridgeport to get her master’s degree in nutrition. She hopes to help fellow models learn better eating habits. “Sometimes if they are told to lose weight, they lose too much,” she shared. “If you know the right thing to do, eating healthy isn’t so hard. Fruits and vegetables are just the best thing for you.”

I would add just a bite of Lola’s red velvet cake to the list as well. It’s delicious!
