NEWS'Gossip Girl' Star Leighton Meester Chops Off Her Long Locks: "It Was Time For a Change!"

Leighton Meester showed off her new look last night at Ink restaurant in West Hollywood while celebrating her new Flaunt magazine cover.

The 26-year-old told Just Jared, "Yes! I chopped off my hair after Gossip Girl wrapped."
The actress had her hair stylist from the hit CW drama that comes to an end December 10, Lizzie Reilly, give her a new 'do.
“My long, wavy hair got a lot of mileage, so it was time for a change. The girl who did my hair on the show chopped it off and I love it. I hop out of the shower and it takes five minutes to dry!"

Leighton, who wore a Mary Katrantzou dress and Christian Louboutin shoes to the event, enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the party which were served on platters featuring her Flaunt cover.
