Green Day's Billie Joe Makes His Broadway Debut

The cast of Broadway's American Idiot was in for a special treat on Tuesday — or a whole lot of pressure depending on how you look at it. Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong made his Broadway debut in the musical he co-wrote at St. James Theater in NYC. With guitar in hand, Billie stepped out onto stage and stole the show!

Billie took over the role of St. Jimmy, who is the sex-and-drugs-obsessed antagonist/alter-ego of Johnny, the main character, MTV News reports.
