Girls star Lena Dunham was midway through an interview with Ryan Seacrest when Homeland star Claire Danes appeared, and Claire was so excited to see Lena that she interrupted Ryan so the two could chat. The bubbly pair seemed affectionate, and explained that they grew up near each other in New York City.

The love was so apparent that the duo even had to apologize to Ryan for "ruining his life" by taking over the broadcast. They admitted that being on rival networks of HBO and Showtime should make them enemies, but they can't help but be friends.
