Robert "Joe" Halderman, the man accused of trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman, has posted bail at $200,000 -- but even though he's free for now, he has to stay away from Dave.
TMZ reports that Judge Michael Melkonian has issued a temporary order of protection requiring Halderman to keep his distance from the Late Show host. Earlier today, Halderman pled not guilty to the felony of attempted grand larceny in the first degree.
