I love everything raspberry, so when I was tipped off about a new weight loss trend involving raspberry ketones, a chemical in red raspberries, I was very intrigued.

According to WebMD.com, raspberry ketones are often used to fight weight loss and obesity. They can also increase lean body mass and can even be applied to the scalp to improve hair growth. Who knew?

Apparently Dr. Oz, who included a segment during an episode of his show in February 2012 called “Raspberry Ketone: Miracle Fat Burner In a Bottle.”
