Heart’s Ann Wilson Disses Sarah Palin After Performing on 'DWTS'

Singer Ann Wilson of the band Heart thinks Bristol Palin’s mom, politician, Sarah Palin, is a real barracuda!

After she and sister Nancy Wilson performed Heart’s famous song “Barracuda” on Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night, Ann laughed backstage to reporters, “I was just disappointed that Sarah Palin wasn’t here to watch her daughter because we would have dedicated it to her — in one way or another.”

Bristol and pro partner Mark Ballas survived elimination on Tuesday night on DWTS once again.

But with the Nov. 2 election day fast approaching, she can’t avoid politics — and singer Ann’s attack on her Republican firebrand mom.

Meanwhile, Ann, a staunch Democrat, told OK! Heart’s in the right place when it comes to supporting their favorite politicians: “Tomorrow note: Wednesday we’re playing a Democratic fundraiser put on by Mrs. Obama and Barbara Boxer and we’re doing it acoustically.”
