Honey Boo Boo is used to being crowned a beauty pageant winner, but she was competing in a whole new arena over the weekend!
The Toddlers & Tiaras turned reality star princess took part in the fifth annual National Redneck Olymp-Hicks in Augusta, Georgia, on Saturday, winning a gold medal for her dance skills—and OKMagazine.com has all the details!
The tournament, which includes prizes for bobbin’ for pig’s feet, the biggest beer belly, best redneck belly-flop and loudest belch, was a closely fought affair, but the seven year-old's dance moves, which she has honed over the years competing in pageants around the country, were a sure fire winner.
And, Honey Boo Boo, real name Alana Thompson, wasn't the only winner in the family!
Her sister Anna Chickadee's little girl Kaitlyn also scored a gold medal—for cutest redneck baby.
During the festivities the girls' mom, June Shannon, could be seen lending her support, loudly cheering her daughters on from the crowd.
Keeping true to their redneck roots, the bride wore a long, princess-like gown—in a camo pattern with orange trim.
You'll be able to watch the wedding on the new season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, debuting July 17 on TLC.
In the meantime, check out the video below to see little Kaitlyn take home the gold at the Redneck Olymp-Hicks!
