Third time's a charm! Last night as Neil Patrick Harris dazzled the crowd in NYC at the Beacon Theatre by hosting the Tony Awards for the third time, there were definitely a lot of celebrity sightings.
Whether it was Amanda Seyfried in the opening number, Nick Jonas presenting an award, Andrew Garfield in the audience or the cameo of Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family, the How I Met Your Mother Star proved yet again he definitely has chops to sing and dance.
Opening the show with a one-liner saying it's "50 Shades of Gay," Neil's song and dance routine alluded to how life should be more like theater. He crooned, "Imagine if everywhere you went you heard a band, wouldn't life be so much sweeter if you could cue the weather with your hand? Cool. What if all of your rhyming answers and you never left home without your back up dancers? What if life were more like theater, wouldn't life be grand?"

Amidst hosting duties which included hanging upside down a la Spider-Man, Neil Patrick's closing number joked about how he didn't have enough time to perform as it recapped the night's highlights including more than one win for Once.
