NEWSI Am LITERALLY Crying That These Parks and Recreation Cast Members are Leaving the Show

Very, very few shows have tapped into the brilliance of an ensemble cast the way Parks and Recreation has. So it brings me sadness today to hear that Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be departing the show in the middle of it's upcoming season.

Whyyyy?? Ok fine, I know a TV show can take up a lot of time and it's not like either of them are sitting around twiddling their thumbs in the off-season. Rob needs time to get all his makeup applied for Liberace movies, and Rashida needs time to make more life-changing films like Celeste and Jesse Forever (seriously, so good.).

But noooo! Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) needs her best friend Anne and April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza) needs someone to roll her eyes at! Well, maybe there are plenty of other characters around for her to do that but it won't be the same without Chris Traeger!

I can only hope that this means their characters have created the hottest baby ever (well besides Everly Tatum of course) and they are moving away to live happily ever after. We still have about 13 episodes to enjoy with the two of them so we will cherish that time together.
