The reality hunk's new single status could open the door to a secret reunion with former flame Ali on her show, The Bachelorette.

"If Jake showed up on The Bachelorette "After the Final Rose" it could be obvious rating gold for a season six finale," says Michael Essany, reality-TV expert and author of Reality Check: The Business and Art of Producing Reality TV. "People are fascinated with them."

Fans ate up the love affair between Ali and Jake on The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, and were almost as heartbroken as Ali herself was when she chose to leave the show to save her job at Facebook, rather than follow her heart and stay with Jake (who later proposed to Vienna). That audience connection with the  pair could net ABC 40 million to 50 million viewers should Jake show up on the finale of The Bachelorette, says Essany.

And the longer TV execs are able to keep a Jake and Ali get-together under wraps, the higher the ratings could go.

"It's one of those 'lightning in a bottle scenarios that when you have it, you're just thankful for it," he says.

Even Ali knows it would make for great TV: Insiders say she tried to get Jake to  come on The Bachelorette before the show started taping, but at the time, he put his relationship with Vienna first. Now that she's gone, the sky's the limit.
