UPDATE: Breathe a sigh of relief, Real Housewives of New Jersey fans! Bravo has issued a statement dismissing the rumors of Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo leaving the show.
The statement from a Bravo spokesperson to OK! reads: “Bravo is not firing anyone from ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey.’ This is completely inaccurate from sources who are unreliable and making up rumors. All five cast members will be featured on season four. No decisions have been made about season five at this time. We are looking forward to the season three finale this Sunday at 10pm.”

It looks like New York isn't the only city that will be losing some housewives. Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo have reportedly been cut from the hit Bravo series The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
"Jacqueline and Caroline were told months ago that they wouldn't be returning for a fifth season if they didn't bring the drama," an insider told Huffington Post's Rob Shuter. "This season has been dominated by Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice drama, and season four, that they are filming right now, is going to be no different."

Why would the show be getting rid of two of the original housewives?
Caroline doesn't involve herself enough in the drama, and Jacqueline's daughter, Ashley, who was at the center of her story, has left the show.
"Producers have been showing all the ladies private footage of what they have all been saying behind each others' backs hoping to bring Jacqueline and Caroline into the drama," according to the Huffington Post insider. "But so far, they have kept their cool on camera and saved the drama for Twitter, not TV."

And it looks like Jacqueline might even end the current season of Real Housewives early; she "refused to come out of her house" the day of the obligatory reunion special.
Last month it was confirmed that Jill Zarin, Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Alex McCord were fired from The Real Housewives of New York City.
Bravo confirmed the show’s firings with the following statement: “Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn de Lesseps will be returning for season five of The Real Housewives of New York City. We’ve had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers. It is a friendly departure among the other ladies, and we continue to have ongoing discussions with them.”
Bravo has not yet made a statement on the fate of Jacqueline or Caroline. Would you be sad to see them go?
