Jada Pinkett Smith Addresses "Ridiculous" Rumors About Her Marriage to Will Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith wants to set the record straight — she and Will Smith are not getting divorced! 

The actress spoke to French magazine Gala and addressed the hurtful rumors that have been floating around for the past few months concerning her marriage.

She insists that she and Will are perfectly happy together and have no idea why they were "chosen" to be the center of the latest celebrity divorce drama. 

When asked why the speculation won't go away, Jada explained, "I have no idea! Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it's us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it." 

"Will and I know the truth," the mother of Willow and Jaden added. "We're waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over." 

Although it seemed that the couple were having marital problems due to their hectic schedules, Jada insists that she and Will have always spent time apart and nothing has changed in their family dynamic. 

"These rumors are completely untrue," Jada said. "I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does... But our lifestyle hasn't changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects."

As for whether or not reports are true that the couple live in separate homes, Jada revealed, "That's ridiculous. We've always lived together."
