
James Franco Earns Spirit Awards Nomination

James Franco could be bringing some spirit with him to the Oscars! The 127 Hours actor has been nominated for leading actor for the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

On Tuesday, James earned a leading actor nomination for The 20011 Film Independent Spirit Awards after just being announced as co-host of the Oscars alongside Anne Hathaway yesterday!
Other leading male actors nominated in the category include Ben Stiller (Greenberg), John C. Reilly (Cyrus); Aaron Eckhart (Rabbit Hole) and Ronald Bronstein (Daddy Longlegs).
Leading actress nominations went to Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right), Greta Gerwig (Greenberg), Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine) and Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone).
