Jay on Conan's TBS Show: "I Knew He'd Land on His Feet"

Many were confident Conan O'Brien's unemployment would be temporary, including the man partially responsible for putting him in that position! Jay Leno told Access Hollywood of Conan's new TBS show, "I knew he'd land on his feet."

With the new schedule, Conan's show starts at 11 p.m. and The Tonight Show and The Late Show With David Letterman start at 11:35 p.m.
“It’ll be fun. Everybody will compete,” Jay told Access Hollywood. “11 o’clock is now the most exciting place to be.”

But, Jay's confident Conan will keep his fans entertained.
“I think he’ll be great,” Jay said. “He’s a very funny guy.”

Conan's making the switch from network to cable television and Jay thinks it's all basically the same.

“I didn’t know what to think,” he explained. “I mean, well, FOX is network but they have cable too, so, you know, it’s all sort of the same now. Everybody sort of reaches the same thing, but I think it’s exciting. I think he’ll do well."
