The bad-guy of late night TV, Jay Leno, is in talks to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show next week in an attempt to salvage his reputation after the Tonight Show debacle which saw Conan O'Brien squeezed out to pave the way for his return.
While Jay's taken a battering from his fellow late night hosts including Conan and David Letterman, other celebrities including Rosie O'Donnell have slammed him.
"Oprah and Jay love each other," a source told the New York Post, suggesting that Oprah will treat the comedian with kid gloves. "They talk constantly."

"I'm glad I’m not in late night, because it seems like they throw everybody to the wolves, including their own," Rosie said this week. "It was really a crappy move on Leno’s part... classless and kind of career-defining, if you ask me.”
