Okay, let's back up. Remember in 2009, when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards?

Fast-forward to last night. At the BET Awards, Jay-Z and Kanye won the video of the year award for "Otis," from their 2011 album, Watch the Throne.

Well, you can guess what happened next! Jay interrupted Kanye and simply stated, "Excuse me, Kanya, I'mma let you continue but..." The crowd went wild and Beyoncé seemed to get a kick out of it, too.

Kim Kardashian seemed to beam with pride in the audience over her man as well and the funny stunt. Kanye's speech thanked BET for giving him the opportunity to "push the envelope." He added, "We don't take for granted the opportunity that y'all have given to us."
