Surrounded by a screaming mob of girls, Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans punched Britany Truett in the face with all her might, wrestled the girl to the ground and landed at least eight more blows to her head in a video that has gone viral online and resulted in Jenelle’s arrest on March 27. But the 19-year-old insists the fight wasn’t her fault.

“She told me that Britany kept texting Jenelle, claiming that her boyfriend Kieffer Delp had been flirting with her and challenging her to a fight,” Brittany Maggard, a close friend of Jenelle, tells OK! exclusively. “Jenelle says she never hit anyone in her life — she had never been in a real fight like this other than with her family members.”

But the public fight, where the MTV star escaped with only a bruised cheek, is just the latest of Jenelle’s antics that have her in hot water. On March 18, Jenelle called the police three times on her own housemates. “Jenelle told me she was tired and just wanted to sleep, but they were partying downstairs and wouldn’t turn the music down,” says Brittany. Police arrested nine people, including Jenelle’s two closest childhood friends, for underage drinking, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Now, living at the house is especially tense for Jenelle, but she has paid her rent through May and has nowhere else to go.“Her roommates hate her so bad right now. Jenelle is afraid to go to her house during the day,” says Brittany. “Jenelle has put a padlock on her bedroom door.”
