It's coming up to a year since Jennie Garth split from Twilight star husband Peter Facinelli after 11 years of marriage.
And although the Hollywood actor has already moved on with a younger lover and Jennie has dated a little herself, the trauma of the breakup still runs deep for the former Beverly Hills 90210 starlet.
Jennie opens up in the January/February issue of Health magazine about the split and also about getting herself into the best shape of her life.
"When I'm in excruciating pain, like with what I've been through with my breakup and that grief and loss that's just immobilizing, it helps to remember that it only lasts for 13 to 15 minutes, max," she said.
"And then it's over. Your mind is ready to go to something else. You might come back to it, but it helps to just know that that pain is not going to last forever."

Looking to the future, Jennie says that she is "learning to date again" and "looks aren't important" to her anymore as much as someone with "positive energy."
The 40-year-old mother-of-three also reveals that she's finally found a way to stop the yo-yo dieting and to stay in healthy shape.
"Every day, I just renew my healthy choices," Jennie revealed on what's working for her. "I feel really good about myself now, and I don't want to do anything to change that."
