Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler seemed to enjoy themselves on and off the stage at the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 17, but the cameras were always watching!
"Jen said she just did what felt natural," a source close to the actress tells OK! in the new issue — on sale everywhere now. "She never intended to flirt with Gerry Jen's nickname for Gerard in front of so many people — it was just one of those totally organic, unpredictable things."
It was hard to ignore the chemistry between the two at the Golden Globes. Even when the pair presented the award for best screenplay, Jen cuddled close to Gerard as he playfully hid the winner's name from her!
"This was a great night for her. She felt proud standing with Gerry," an insider says. "She's thinking he might be the man for her after all."
The twosome star in the upcoming comedy The Bounty Hunter due out in March.
"They're 'friends with benefits,' you could say," a source reveals to OK!.
