Jennifer Aniston‘s beloved dog Norman has passed away after 15 years together. Sources tell OK! that Jen was very sad to see Norman go, but she knew it was his time.

OK! NEWS: JENNIFER ANISTON USES HER POOCH’S NAME TO PURCHASE NYC PAD!

Jen recently purchased a home in NYC under Norman’s name and now it seems the gesture is a kind of tribute to her beloved pet.

”He died a few weeks ago,” Jen’s rep said in a statement today (via X17). “He was an old dog and it was just his time.”

Jen had Norman, a Welsh corgi-terrier mix, since he was a puppy.

The actress also has a 5-year-old white German shepherd mix named Dolly. Sources tell OK! that Jen is trying to stay positive.

“She thinks of her dogs as family and used to say Norman was just a human in a dog suit, so losing him has been a big blow,” an insider explained to OK!.

“Norman lived a very long life – at least for a dog – and it was extremely full,” a source adds. “She’s trying to focus on all the good memories instead of letting the sadness take over. Plus, in her heart she knew it was his time to go.”

After watching Marley & Me, we can imagine how she is feeling right now.
