The 2012 Alma Award nominations are in and not surprisingly all our favorite latina and latino actresses are stocking up on nominations.

In the reality show category, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez will face off for their abilities in the judging chair, while Cameron Diaz, Pénelope Cruz and the thrice-nominated Jennifer Lopez are forced to match wits for favorite actress in a comedy.
Zoë Saldana, Salma Hayak, Eva Longoria and Eva Mendes are all nominated for favorite movie actress in a drama, while Sofia Vergara scored two supporting actress nominations (supporting actress in a movie and a comedy series).

Meanwhile, the Sheen family was generously represented in the male category, with patriarch Martin Sheen squaring off against Benicio Del Toro and Andy Garcia in the favorite male actor slot. Brothers Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen also racked up an award each, Charlie for best male actor in a TV series and Emilio for favorite movie actor in a supporting role.
