"Brian and I have decided to turn our romance into an amazing friendship," the blond bombshell said in a statement on Thursday.
"I will continue to be the biggest cheerleader for him. Go, Bears!"
Rumors of a romance began to surface in April and a few weeks later the July/August Playboy cover girl told the world of their love.
"I can confirm that yes, it's true, we are dating," she said at the time.
Jenny was in the process of moving back to her native Chicago to be closer to her family and the football player and was seen clearing out her house in Los Angeles last month.
"Jenny is not moving in with Brian, but she is relocating with her son to the Chicago area for the foreseeable future," her rep told the New York Post about the funnygirl's plans with 10-year-old son Evan.
"I'm from there and I feel like my son is not getting the childhood that I wanted in LA," the Love In The Wild host told OK! magazine.
"On top of that I met someone I like and care about, so all those things combined takes me back home."
Jenny split from Hollywood star Jim Carrey in 2010 after five years together.
