Jesse Eisenberg is suing Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment over the horror flick Camp Hell, the DVD cover of which prominently features an image of the star's famous mug plus an above-the-title credit.
This is probably where you think, "How come I never heard of Camp Hell if it stars the critically acclaimed Oscar nominee?"
The answer to this question is the same reason Jesse is pursuing legal acton: Camp Hell doesn't star Jesse. In fact, the actor is barely in it!
Jesse's cameo in the film is less than five minutes, yet the cover implies he plays a major role in the straight-to-DVD scream-fest.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is pursing legal action "in order to warn his fans and the public that, contrary to the manner in which the defendants are advertising the film, Jesse is not the star of and does not appear in a prominent role in Camp Hell."

The Social Network star only received $3,000 for his day of work on Camp Hell — significantly less than he typically earns — as a favor to friends. Now, however, Jesse is demanding $3 million in damages for unfairly capitalizing on his fame to sell DVDs. That's more than the entire budget of the film!
"No good deed goes unpunished," Jesse's lawsuit begins.
Of course, Jesse's suit is a bit of a double-edged sword for the production company: It provides free publicity for a movie most people never even knew existed.
Jesse might have done more damage had he just kept quiet.
