Jessica Simpson arrived at her NYC hotel last night looking fresh-faced and happy. The singer channeled her inner surfer chick in a colorful hoodie and blue fedora! She couldn't wipe her grin off her face! Must have been windy, as Jess held on tight to her hat!
Jess has a new show coming out on VH1 titled The Price of Beauty which chronicles her travels through eight different countries.
“It is a show that I believe will impact a lot of women. We just traveled the world and really just got into the beauty and culture of so many different and incredible people,” she recently told Ryan Seacrest of her new show. “It's about the heart and the soul of the woman.”
Jessica's negative press over weight was the impetus behind the show.

Her most recent love interestis Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan who admitted to loving Jess in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
Jess recently discussed John Mayer's most recent outburst and her weight with Oprah Winfrey, telling the talk show host she doesn't not accept John's apology in the wake of calling her "sexual napalm" and likening her to "crack cocaine."
