It seems Dynasty actress Joan Collins has been getting back into character as Alexis Carrington, dismissing the current crop of Hollywood women as distinctly below par when it comes to their looks.
However, there's one beauty who gets a thumbs up from the 77-year-old. "I have to say, there aren't that many good looking actresses around today. I mean, there's Angelina Jolie and there's... Angelina Jolie," she says, reports PopEater.

But apparently Brad Pitt chose his current partner well, since his ex-wife isn't up to Joan's standards for Hollywood glamour. "Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's no Ava Gardner or Lana Turner," says Joan.
"I think that is why Cheryl Cole is so popular, because she is just so pretty and the public are starved of gorgeous people."

She added: "When I was young, everybody on screen was gorgeous."
