Joey Fatone: "I Want to Help Britney"

Lance Bass may have been upset over ‘N Sync’s Justin Timberlake-induced breakup, but Joey Fatone has no harsh feelings toward their former bandmate.
"Lance felt betrayed by Justin, but it didn't upset me,” Joey tells Parade magazine. “We were supposed to get back together and record, but since Justin was so successful with his own tour, he wanted to stay out on the road. He didn't have to split money and fame five different ways. It was just going to one person. I would probably do the same thing."
Still, many of the guys still hold out for a future reunion — a test of sorts, Joey says, to determine who still cares about the venture that brought them all that fortune and fame.
"The weirdest thing is some of us still say, 'Let's see if we can bring ‘N Sync back,'” he says. “If we ever do, then we'll find out who the real people are that really want to get back together. That's the only thing I can say."

One thing, or person rather, the 30-year-old Singing Bee host still cares about is Britney Spears, to whom he still opens his door and arms.
"When you start to see somebody crumble like that, it's like you want the best for them. You want them to get the help that they need. Or maybe they just need some time away from everything else."
