John Mayer Turns 35 and Spends His Birthday With Katy Perry in NYC

John Mayer spent his 35th birthday in NYC with someone special — his off and on again girlfriend Katy Perry!

The two were photographed having lunch together at ABC Kitchen in NYC's Union Square neighborhood Tuesday, sparking rumors that the couple are definitely a hot item again.

The pair started dating in June and split shortly after in August. During their breakup, an insider told Confidenti@l "She's been really depressed and needs attention. She really liked him and thought it was going to be something serious."

The sources added, that the 27-year-old never got over him and while they weren't together she was “texting John late at night asking him to take her back.”

Looks like it worked! The two were also spotted out on Sunday looking happy while paparazzi snapped pics during their date.
