He's already portrayed Willy Wonka, the Mad Hatter and a drunken pirate in film, so his portrayal of Dr. Seuss will fit right in! Johnny Depp is producing and potentially starring in an upcoming Dr. Seuss biopic.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny has signed on to produce a film about Dr. Seuss, aka Theodor Geisel, the author of Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who! and so many other classic children's books.
And the star of Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Pirates of the Caribbean may even take on the role of Dr. Seuss himself.
If not, maybe Mike Myers would like another go?
