Is Jon Gosselin growing up? The former man-child has extended an olive branch to Kate Gosselin as she prepares to blitz the ballroom on Dancing With the Stars, telling his ex-wife that he's "happy" for her.
"He is happy for Kate and supportive of her joining the season of DWTS," his rep told Radar Online.
Kate says that she will practice on a makeshift dance floor in the basement of her Pennsylvania home. She will commute to Los Angeles once a week for the show's tapings.
Meanwhile, Kate's fellow dancers should watch out — she means business. On Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, she told him flat out, "I am going to win," reports the Huffington Post.
Jimmy asked, "Are you a competitive person?" To which she replied: "Have you seen my show?"
But Kate confesses she has a tough challenge ahead, as she admits, "I cannot dance." Luckily she says her partner Tony Dovolani, "is a very, very positive person and even when I mess up really bad he finds something positive to say."
How does it affect her competing against stars with dance experience, like the Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger? "I just have to work harder," says Kate.
