Jonas Bros. Settle for Second Best

Without much in the way of tween-friendly fare in theaters — and no major new films opening this past weekend — it seemed a lock that the <a href="https://okmagazine.com/search/Jonas" target="_blank"><strong>Jonas Bros.</strong></a>' new movie, Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience, would reign supreme at the box office.
Not so quickly there, kiddo.
The Brothers Jonas, who have been traveling the country to hype the new release — they even made a surprise pop into a suburban NYC theater on Saturday — were taught a big lesson in humility by a man in drag, as Tyler Perry's latest, Madea Goes to Jail, out-earned the teen pop stars.

In fact, according to early box-office numbers, the JoBros barely eked out there second-place spot over the weekend's #3 film, Oscar champ Slumdog Millionaire, which received a big bump after taking home the top trophy at the Academy Awards.
So could this mean that the once all-powerful pack of Disney stars is losing its stranglehold on the youth audience? We'll probably have a better idea after <a href="https://okmagazine.com/search/cyrus" target="_blank"><strong>Miley Cyrus</strong></a>' Hannah Montana movie opens in April.
