Justin Bieber Brings Mom As His Date to AMAs

Newly single Justin Bieber didn't go stag to the American Music Awards last night. Instead, he brought his mom!

The Biebs and Pattie Mallette attended the 40th AMAs last night and although he's no longer with Selena Gomez, he managed to rock the awards and won the very first one of the evening! 

The pop star accepted the award for favorite pop/rock male artist and stated, "I want to say this is for all the haters who thought I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I'm going to be here for a very long time."

After the awards show he thanked his 30 million fans on Twitter: "loss for words tonight. Like i said as long as you BELIEVE in me i will always try to make you proud. THank you. tonight i will never forget and HAMMER killed it. haha" 

He also wrote in all caps, "THANK YOU TO ALL THE FANS...ALL MY #BELIEBERS...WE ARE A FAMILY. TONIGHT WAS FOR ALL OF YOU. OUR AWARDS> THANK YOU> LOVE U"
