Kaitlyn Dever: She's going to high school, trying all kinds of thing with sports and activities. She's doing junior ROTC, basketball, she's doing a lot of things. She's working on a lot right now. She's enjoying high school, interested in boys. It's been fun.

OK!: What can you tell us about this Valentine's Day episode?

KD: Eve sees her mom and two sisters getting all these nice things for Valentine's day. Vanessa and Mike are doing things for each other on Valentine's Day, and Eve sees all this going on around her and wants in on it. So she decides she's going to have auditions or interviews for boyfriends. laughs She interviews a couple of boys to be her boyfriend. It's pretty hilarious.

OK!: Would you like to see more of Eve dating, and have that be a story line in the future?

KD: I think that'd be funny. Eve has no idea about dating, she'd kind of like her dad. She's a very tough girl. I think it'd be funny to see Eve dating later on on the show.

OK!: Do you have a dream guy or a celebrity crush that would be a good casting for a future boyfriend for Eve?

KD: Oh gosh, no I don't. I've really never had celebrity crushes my whole life. The only big actor that I really like is Joaquin Phoenix, but he's very old! He's very old! I've never really had any celebrity crushes. It could be a surprise if someone came on the show.

OK!: Why Joaquin Phoenix, and did you see Her?

KD: I did not see Her. I've been dying to see it. I think my parents have to see it before I see it. I'm still trying to convince them! I'm 17, now, you know, I should be able to see it. I love Joaquin Phoenix because my favorite film is Walk the Line. He's amazing in that, brilliant.

OK!: What's your favorite thing about playing Eve?

KD: My favorite thing is probably her sarcasm. I love when she has a great line and I get to deliver it with such sarcasm. She has such a great sense of humor. I think that's what I love most about her.

OK!: What are your feelings on Valentine's Day? Is it fun, or do you think it's annoying?

KD: I don't think it's annoying at all, I think it's really nice. At some point in this episode, Mike starts talking about how Valentine's Day is just something somebody invented, it's not a real holiday. But I think it's a nice holiday, in my opinion. I like Valentine's Day. My parents have always done special things for each other on Valentine's Day, and I think it's nice when a guy gives a girls flowers, or roses, or chocolate. When I was 12 or 13, this boy, he was like my best friend, and he got me this giant teddy bear on Valentine's Day. That was my first gift on Valentine's Day. We were just best friends, and we hung out all the time, and he got me this giant teddy bear.

OK!: You also have some movies coming out. In this movie Grass Stains, and you're working with the same actor from Last Man Standing. Tell me about that.

KD: Grass Stains is a coming-of-age story about a girl who's dealing with her brother's death, and then the boy is dealing with the guilt of my brother's death, because he had something to do with it. Working with Tye Sheridan was really great, and then having him guest star on the show was really awesome. Then I have Laggies, which just went to Sundance.

OK!: Did you go to Sundance?

KD: I did, but it's crazy because I haven't seen my film yet! I went to Sundance the day after it premiered. I was in Austin shooting a movie, so the very next morning I went to Sundance and did a bunch of press stuff. And everybody was talking to me about how good the film was, and Chloe Grace Moretz and Keira Knightley and the director Lyn Shelton were going on and on about how great it was. And it was killing me! I haven't see it yet.

OK!: What is sthe story of that one, and what was it like to work with Keira?

KD: Laggies is about a twentysomething girl who's young at heart and she's trying to figure out what she's going to do with her life. Working with Keira was really awesome because she's such a cool person but she's also very nice and very professional. I learned a lot from her. Also working with Chloe Moretz was really cool, because I play her best friend in the movie and we got very close and had a lot of fun.
