Kandi Burruss is closer than ever to the birth of her first child with her husband, Todd Tucker. But in a clip from the Dec. 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the duo fails to shake their pregnancy jitters as Burruss is examined by Dr. Jackie Waters during a routine checkup.

In the clip, Dr. Jackie updates Burruss, 39, and Tucker on their little boy’s health and how Burruss’ pregnancy is progressing. After informing Burruss that her latest round of tests show she is doing just fine, Dr. Jackie offers a little tough love to her patient, telling the busy mommy-to-be that she needs to take more time to rest as her baby’s due date quickly approaches.
