Reality star Kate Gosselin is lashing out at the media attention that has made her — and her family — famous.
"You’re like a prisoner,” Kate, 34, says in a Vanity Fair profile.
She points the finger at the paparazzi who capture her every move “every single single single single single single single day of my life," she cries, "I hate it. I hate it so much.”
However, with her newfound fame there's a silver lining: her burgeoning TV career.
“It comes to me very easily when I’m doing TV,” she says of her stint co-hosting The View. “It’s not an issue. I laugh that people are like, ‘Oh, that must be so hard.’
"To me it’s so very easy! I say to myself, 'No, no, you can do this.' I felt like I was walking in on their turf. They were all lined up in their chairs in the makeup room.
"Well, it took about 39 seconds for them to see I’m not there to take over or anything. I definitely bonded with Sherri Shepherd. She has gone through a divorce and she took me under her wing. Barbara Walters was wonderful!”

What about her poor kids (twins Mady and Cara, 9, and 5-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel)?
“I’m trying to give them the grace to see, if they’re acting out of line, I’m trying to look deeper into why that is,” says Kate.
“Why the kids are acting out. Cause it’s all inter-related. I mean, they don’t see it, but it’s all interconnected.”
“They miss him,” she says of her estranged husband Jon, 32. “They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I’m away.”
