Kate Winslet took her six-year-old son Joe Mendes to the movies today in NYC. Joe was stayed close to his mom side (sitting on her hip for most of the outing) as they made their way to the theater. Kate recently split from husband, director Sam Mendes after seven years of marriage. The couple has their son, Joe, and Kate has a nine-year-old daughter, Mia, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.
Kate's main priorities remain her children — taking some time today to bond with her son!
“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers said in a statement. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”
