OK! NEWS: TOM CRUISE AND KATIE HOLMES ARE GETTING DIVORCED, COUPLE CONFIRMS
Only a few hours after news broke that Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise, some inside information on Katie's motives for ending her five-year marriage have surfaced.
It appears neither infidelity nor money issues were the problem, but rather Katie felt creatively stifled by Tom's overbearing role in her acting career.
"Katie just wants to live out of the spotlight of Tom. She wants to focus on her acting career, which has taken a backseat since her marriage," a source told RadarOnline.com. "She is currently filming a movie and has another project lined up and she wants to amp up her career another notch, which she has struggled to do the past few years. Tom was always very vocal about what roles Katie should play."

They also clashed over how to raise their only child, Suri. The source says Katie was the more strict parent and often grew tired of Tom treating the 6-year-old like "a little adult." She wants her daughter to lead a less public life and go to a regular school, not be home-schooled like Tom's two children with Nicole Kidman, Connor and Isabella.
She also wants primary custody, which the source predicts she'll get.
One issue they won't squabble over is money. Katie signed a prenuptial agreement and doesn't want or need anymore of Tom's cash. So that's a relief.
