Katy Perry's 'Part of Me' Bombs at Box Office

We guess no one wanted a part of her. Katy Perry's documentary of her life on tour, Katy Perry: Part of Me, has been largely ignored by fans on its opening weekend.

Of course, going up against The Amazing Spider-Man, which made $65 million over the weekend, probably hurt the movie's chances of being a smash success.
"Earth to Hollywood: no one cares about Katy beyond a handful of tween/teen girls. Not even Russell Brand anymore," wrote one reviewer on Deadline.

We don't know if that's exactly true, but the numbers are dismal: Katy's movie is expected to pull in $7.1 million for its debut weekend. Katy recently visited The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and said that "people will relate" to the movie, primarily because of her divorce from Russell.
