NEWSKeanu Reeves to "Party On" in 'Bill & Ted 3'

Over 20 years may have passed since Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, but by the looks of it, Bill and Ted are ready to reunite and party on, dudes! Keanu Reeves of Matrix fame has confirmed that the long-awaited sequel is in the works.

Keanu told MTV (via Huffington Post) that a draft of the screenplay is almost finished. "When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn't happened."

Even though there was a sequel, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991, it sounds like the next installment will center around a reunion and traveling back in time. Keanu explained, "So they've now become kind of possessed by trying to do that. Then there's an element of time and they have to go back."
