Even though Miley has spread the message that she Can't Be Tamed, former Life Goes On, Christy and E.R opened up to Fancast about what advice she'd share with the star about her career.

“I would tell Miley to go to college," Kellie said. "I really think that saved me. Fred Savage went to Stanford, Mayim Bialik went to UCLA, I went to Yale.”

Mayim now has a PhD in neuroscience and a role as Jim Parsons' (Sheldon) love interest on Big Bang Theory. Likewise, Fred has since become a director and producer of shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadephia.

“It’s really, really important to get an education because when all of this is gone, then at least you have your education," she explained. "Then you can do whatever it is you want to do. If tomorrow I decided to stop being an actor I could go do a lot of other things. "

”Knowing that makes me a whole person and have confidence in who I am as a whole person as opposed to confidence in who I am as just an actor," Kellie added. "I’m capable of dealing with life things as opposed to having other people around me deal with all my life things, which I think is really important."

Kellie believes that with a college degree, Miley would have the complete package.

"She’s actually wildly talented, little Miley Cyrus, and she has a sweet family," Kellie explained. "If she went to college, she’d be totally set. She’d be set forever.”

What do you think? Should Miley take Kellie's advice?
