Kim Cattrall opened up this morning on the Today Show about Samantha's role in the highly-anticipated Sex and The City 2 and turning down a mag cover opportunity where she was asked to pose with a cougar.
Kim's infamous/beloved character Samantha is known for her sexual prowess, strong feminine work ethic and always having a good time with her friends.
The second installment of the Sex and The City phenom shows Sam in a new stage of her life — back from L.A. after splitting with Smith and dealing with menopause.
"How do you make menopause sexy?" she said when speaking about her role in the film. "The script was so funny. That is what I think is so great about Sex and The City. It sort of has its finger on taboos that people are not ready to talk about. People still do this day do not call it menopause. They call it 'the change.'"
Kim also opened up about why she declined to pose with a cougar on a magazine cover geared toward women over 40.
"I felt it was very derogatory. I feel there is noting predatory about a woman at a certain age...We have come so far since that."
