
Kim Kardashian Confirms Kris Humphries Divorce: "Not An Easy Decision"

Kim Kardashian has issued an official statement to OK! confirming reports that she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries today.

Kim married Kris just 72 days ago and now she confirms she's calling it quits.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," she says in a statement to OK!. "I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision."
Despite the reports that Kim and Kris fought all the time, Kim makes it sound like the two will stay friendly.
"I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned," Kim added. "We remain friends and wish each other the best."

Kim and Kris tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony on Aug. 20 in front of 500 guests including cameras for E!'s special, Kim's Fairytale Wedding.

The two will be featured in E!'s upcoming second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York and even the promo hints that there were problems between the couple.
"How am I going to have my career and live in Minnesota?" Kim asks Kris in the promo.
"Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will probably care about you," Kris said.
