Kim without the Kardashian? Kim Kardashian may be saying goodbye to the surname that helped catapult her to superstardom. A new report suggests the reality star will take the last name of her NBA superstar fiancé Kris Humphries after they wed.
According to TMZ sources, Kim will "for sure" take Kris' last name and go by Kim Humphries after they get hitched this summer.
One person who does not want to see Kimmie changer her last name is Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner.
"I don’t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries... She needs to be Kim Kardashian because she’s worked so hard to get where she is," Kim's mom recently told PopEater.
Can you imagine Kim without her famous last name? Sister Khloe became Khloe Kardashian Odom after she married L.A. Laker Lamar Odom. Maybe Kim will keep both names and follow in Khloe's footsteps?
